You might be thinking, this is either just a click-bait or some kind of trickery. I assure you it’s neither. It’s just a travel incentive offered by Singapore Airlines & Changi Airport. No wonder Changi is so often rated the best airport in the world.
So let’s talk about the requirements and the process to get the voucher.
Free voucher at Changi airport – Eligibility Criteria
Well not much, you need to meet 2 main criteria:
- You must be transiting through Changi airport on both legs of your journey, which means Singapore cant be your point of origin nor the end destination.
- You must be booked on Singapore airlines/Silk Air/Air New Zealand & Scoot. Some code share flights among airlines are also eligible.
- If you are Changi Rewards member, then you get an additional S$20 voucher/person.

If you are not really sure if you are eligible or not, I would still suggest visiting the kiosk and giving it a try. You never know when you might get lucky 😊 .
Free voucher at Changi airport – Where to collect the voucher from?
To collect your free voucher at Changi airport, you need to proceed to the iShopChangi Collection Centres in the transit area of Terminal 3.

You need to present your passport, boarding passes and all e-tickets for both legs of your journey & voila you can claim your free S$20 voucher.
This voucher can be collected on either legs for the journey. I personally, always collect it on the return leg. This time when I was returning after my Vietnam-Cambodia backpacking trip I used the voucher for shopping chocolates and other souvenirs to bring back home.
